About You
We are looking for a Controller for our CSL Vifor HQ office in Zurich. In this exciting manager role, you are responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial reports & analyses delivered to the Senior Management and for the preparation of various ad-hoc analysis as directed by the Finance Heads at CSL Vifor HQ. Additionally, the Controller is a key contributor in the financial planning processes for CSL Vifor. The Controller reports to the Head of CSL Vifor FP&A and works closely with other functions within finance. The Controller supports the Head of CSL Vifor FP&A in any other reporting, closing, or planning tasks and in ad hoc issues and various projects as they arise.
Your main Tasks will be the following:
- Preparation and analysis of management results of CSL Vifor on a monthly basis to Senior Management
- Preparation of ad hoc finance analysis as directed by Finance Heads
- Manage / coordinate preparation of CSL Vifor’s monthly reporting package
- Assist with the Budgeting/Planning for the CSL Vifor and ensure appropriate coordination of planning activities
- Together with the finance team at CSL Vifor HQ and other finance teams within the CSL Group, ensure all planning and reporting timelines are met, and results are complete, accurate, and containing appropriate analysis
- Support implementation and optimization of financial systems and management reporting tools as required
- Support the Head of CSL Vifor FP&A in integration related projects and activities
- Ad-hoc projects as directed by Head of CSL Vifor FP&A
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.
Minimum Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent in accounting and/or controlling
- 1-3 years of experience with financial processes, controls and systems
- Financial planning, reporting and analysis experience.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is an asset
- Experience with working in a global corporate setup is an asset
- SAP and PowerBI knowledge are an asset
- Professional in English both in verbal and written communication, German and French language skills is an advantage
