About You

Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the Executive Director of Sales, lead a team of Divisional Sales Managers and Territory Account Managers to drive execution and grow sales in compliance with the company’s guidelines and standards of practice
- Build a comprehensive strategic business plan; manage funds and resources towards maximizing sales and return on investment 
- Create an environment that motivates team to accomplish strategic goals in alignment with wider organizational vision 
- Work closely with key internal business partners such as Marketing, Field Logistics, Sales Operations, Medical Affairs, Learning & Development, and Managed Care to support brand goals and targets
- Measure and drive key metrics that lead to sustained results

Tasks:

Build a great team
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop Division Sales Managers and support development of Territory Account Managers
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, objectives, and metrics for team members
- Assess Division Sales Managers’ and Territory Account Managers’ performance relative to expectations; provide feedback; recognize and reward success
- Re-recruit current team members 
- Fosters engaging and collaborative Culture
- Exhibits, fosters, and upholds the Company Values 
- Coach and guide team members to increase performance
Drive Regional Strategy
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the business across the region
- Develop and execute strategic and plans including specific, measurable, action-oriented objectives in accordance with national goals
- Define strategies, processes, and policies that reflect an understanding of the evolving business and critical customer issues while considering the company’s capabilities and needs 
- Provide input on the national strategic plan
- Develop and adhere to regional operational budget ensuring ethical, targeted allocation of funds

Qualifications:

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent:
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree 
- 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- 5 years’ experience as a district/divisional manager and/or 3 years as a regional sales director (3rd in line in leading leaders.)
- Demonstrated success in field management defined as consecutive years of increased sales or market share
Preferred Requirements
- 3 years’ Director experience in leading a team of leaders and/or managers.
- Cross section of experience in the pharma industry such as specialty sales, institution, managed markets, sales leadership, and training, etc.
