Vifor Pharma a world leading Nephrology, Iron Deficiency and Cardio-Renal pharmaceutical company, we are experiencing rapid growth due to pipeline realization, optimization and innovative alliance partnerships on a global basis. A newly created role has arisen within the Regulatory Affairs Chemistry Manufacturing and Control (CMC) function to lead a team focused on CMC lifecycle management of Vifor Pharma`s entire product portfolio. Reporting directly to the Head of Regulatory Affairs CMC and sitting within the Global Regulatory Affairs function at our Glattbrugg Headquarters you will manage a team of Regulatory CMC professionals split across our HQ and our manufacturing site in St Gallen.
This position will focus on CMC lifecycle management of some of our most successful products and those moving through the pipeline upon first regulatory approval. Responsibilities will include further new license applications in countries of strategic importance for Vifor Pharma`s global business. You will be a seasoned and inspirational leader within Regulatory Affairs CMC and have demonstrable experience and a track record of success with delivering regulatory business objectives through both internal and external collaboration. · MA/MS or equivalent university degree in natural or life sciences
· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, with at least 7 years in Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Pharmaceutical Development or other relevant area.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading and managing teams.
· Sound technical regulatory expertise and practical working experience with international regulatory legislation in more than one key region (US, EU, CH, Japan, China).
· Experience in working cross-culturally, within a complex or matrix environment and with senior stakeholders.
· Fluency in English (verbal and written).
