CSL Vifor is experiencing rapid growth due to pipeline acceleration and launches in rare renal diseases. After the successful market entry of TAVNEOS (avacopan), our second novel targeted therapy Sparsentan is coming soon to market in multiple indications. As such, a fantastic unique opportunity has arisen to take to be part of our young, dynamic Global Business Unit dedicated to rare disease. The Marketing candidate will lead the launch preparation of Sparsentan in the targeted indications, and report into the Global Brand Team Lead. In this role, you will lead the brand strategic planning, including launch preparation. Also, you will develop customer engagement plan to inform MCM / digital tactics to create journeys aligned to brand experience and reach HCPs via personal and non-personal channels including brand and disease awareness assets. Hence, you will have close interactions with global cross-functional team members as well as with the Rare Disease customer-facing team in the launch markets. Your main accountabilities will also include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Lead brand strategic planning, including launch preparation. Identify trends, opportunities and threats for the Brand and propose corresponding measures, develop and coordinate the strategic and operational brand plan and lead strategic projects
· Develop global brand positioning, messaging and communication
· Identify growth opportunities and developing business cases
· Develop customer engagement plan to inform multi-channel and digital tactics to create journeys aligned to brand and disease awareness experience and reach HCPs via personal and non-personal channels including brand and disease awareness assets, incl. media plan to optimize flow/traffic
· Define in collaboration with advocacy, medical affairs and community representatives relevant content definition for disease awareness and SoM platforms
· Give input into forecasts based on customers insights and feedback from the field
· Develop, translate and adapt centrally developed key messages and promotional material for digital and face-to-face channels, and continuously evaluate effectiveness
· Ensure timely use of market research and competitors monitoring/CI and build in-depth knowledge of the Brand and Competitors.
· Work closely with all support functions and closely with commercial teams to ensure good use of the brand and its promotional campaign content
· Supports the roll-out of the global brand plan with regions and affiliates to develop and implement promotional activities, campaigns and communication (incl. participation in review and approval)
· Integrates across functions, regions and partners with regards to planning and execution of the global brand program
· Defines, tracks and reports KPIs, providing input on corrective actions to deliver on the plan and increase marketing effectiveness
· Manages annual marketing budget and coordinates external vendors / agencies
· Builds functional capabilities, coaching, developing and managing the training needs of peers, commercial field forces
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.
Minimum Requirements
- Master degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the life sciences industry, preferably in specialty pharma (nephrology, immunology or other as big plus), with rare disease/orphan drug experience also a strong plus
- Experience working in agile, cross-border Business Units in commercial, marketing at regional and country level
- Recent track records in deploying successful omnichannel tactics, and aligning brand content to HCP preferences and aligned with behavioral objectives
- Solid experience in managing cross-functional project teams and communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Leadership experience in multi-channel engagement with needle-moving digital tactics
- Financial and budgeting skills and experience
- Mastery in English communications with additional European languages a big plus
- Able to travel and some remote work permitted
