HR Director, HR Business Partner & HR Operations Leader

About You

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the HR Director will evolve and enhance the HR Operations function for US based employees and also serve as a member of the local HR Senior Leadership Team and HR Business Partner for a designated segment of the US organization.

Tasks:

Drive HR Operations function in the US
- Build and strengthen ongoing cross-functional (and global) partnerships to ensure company programs and projects execute on time and in an aligned manner
- Establish and maintain HR KPIs and dashboard across the HR functions that capture ongoing employee lifecycle activities as well as cyclical HR activities
- Manage the internal and external HR reports, HR processes and tools
- Manage the leadership development programs for US employees 
- Participate in global and local projects and initiatives to support the HR function

Serve as HR Business Partner
- Serve as a full HR partner and active member of each executive’s management team across multiple US organizations
- Identify HR needs and initiatives that will drive business success, engage employees, and maintain an environment consistent with company values
- Assist the management team of each client group in evaluating performance of individual team members and providing guidance on development in line with Vifor Pharma’s approach to talent management
- Coach business leaders on leading and managing their organizations to be the best that they can be
- Collaborate with leaders and employees across the US organization to identify skill gaps and training needs and deliver solutions that address those needs
- Drive decisions and lead execution related to hiring, retention, engagement, org design, and critical Employee Relations matters
- Facilitate the consistent application and improvement of HR policies, processes, and programs

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements
- BS/BA in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or equivalent experience
- 10+ years’ experience, with a minimum of 7 years HR Business Partner or equivalent experience
- Broad HR knowledge in key areas such as talent acquisition, talent development, employee relations, compensation, HR policies and best practices, learning and development, etc.
- Strong quantitative skills, specifically in HR analytics & compensation management
- Strong knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements, policies and practices related to the functional area


Preferred Requirements
- A minimum of five years’ HR Operations and employee relations experience 
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or life-sciences industry preferred
- Experience in leading direct reports, including goal setting and setting performance expectations is a plus, but not required
