About You

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and collaborative technician to join our dynamic team at the development site in St. Gallen. In this role you will be responsible for developing and improving analytical methods and for execution various studies.

Your responsibilities & Tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Development and improvement of analytical methods
  • Implementation of new techniques including evaluation and qualification of new instruments mainly in the area of chromatography and spectroscopy (e.g. HPLC, IC, GPC, GC, LC-MS, IR- and UV/VIS spectroscopy)
  • Execution of the validation of analytical methods considering GMP and state-of-the-art guidelines as well as statistical assessment of the validations.
  • Execution of indicative stability, of stress tests, of food-interaction studies, of drug-drug interactions, of bioequivalence studies and of excipient compatibility studies and of delivering data for impurity profiles.
  • Routine analysis, if required
  • Providing new method descriptions in standard operational procedures (SOPs, LPVs)
  • GMP compliance
  • Lab maintenance duties: ordering reagents and consumables, cleaning and organization of laboratory and equipment
  • Adherence to all measures for protection of health and environment
  • Keeping up to date with recent developments in the field of laboratory instruments
  • Introduction, instruction, and training of new employees and apprentices on lab work
  • Proper use of safety and security installations and personal protective equipment

  • Excellent Performance of analytical, experiments, (planning, execution, analysis, and documentation)
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with regards to technical innovations, i.e., instruments and techniques as well as with respect to improvable methods
  • High quality of analytical results, respectful attitude towards all team members

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Lab technician with focus on Analytics (Swiss Federal Certificate) or FH Chemist (diploma)
  • Experienced with chromatographic separation and spectroscopic techniques
  • GMP experience
  • Good IT skills
  • Fluent in English and German is a must

Preferred Requirements

  • Extensive Experience in Instrumental analytics including HR-LC-MS (> 5 years)
  • Experience with eLN and digital solutions
  • GMP experience (> 5 years)
