CSL Vifor Pharma, a world leading Nephrology, Iron Deficiency and Cardio-Renal pharmaceutical company, is experiencing rapid growth due to pipeline realization and optimization.
We are currently looking for a Logistics & Distribution Specialist for our St. Gallen location to join us on a permanent basis. In this function, you are reporting directly to the Head of Logistics & Distribution. In this position you will responsible for supporting the LATAM countries
Main Accountabilities
- Coordinates the order and delivery flow of global shipments
- Utilizes the company's electronic tools to execute transactions of goods, enter orders, create transport documentation and archiving
- Oversees the staging, scheduling, and documentation of transported goods
- Develops strong lines of communication with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
Key Tasks
- Order processing E2E SCM
- Independent organization and coordination of transport shipments (air, land and sea freight)
- Responsible for an optimal and proactive exchange of information regarding customer orders
- Assistance with the warehouse management of sales partners and logistics service providers
- Contact person and support of the supply chain and demand management for the assigned products and logistics service providers
- Coordination and monitoring of the quality-related approval of the products
- Daily contact with internal customers, transport companies, contract manufacturers in English and German
- Coordination of transports according to forecast & purchase order
- Coordination with the suppliers (CMO’s) of the assigned products / countries and logistics service providers
- Helps customer solve their logistics, shipping and fulfillment issues
Qualifications
The knowledge and experience required to take up this position is usually obtained through the following combination of training and further education, knowledge and experience or equivalent.
Minimum Requirements
- Commercial training or apprenticeship
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Experience with common ERP systems (preferably SAP etc.)
- Knowledge of customs procedures, tariffs (HS codes) and trade compliance
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in international logistics or customer service in the pharmaceutical industry or in related industries (food, medical supplies) is an advantage
- GMP and / or GDP experience is an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of foreign languages (Spanish = MUST)
