About You
Our team in Portugal are searching for a Quality Control Technician to integrate the Raw Material’s Team. This position will report to the Raw Materials Team Leader. Your tasks will include the following:
- Raw materials and packaging materials inspection
- Raw materials and purified water sampling
- Raw materials testing in the scope of routine lab activities and other project related activities
- Analytical activities (HPLC, UV/VIS, FTIR, RAMAN, etc)
- Participate in the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of management systems – quality, environment and security
The ideal candidate has a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related technical field in addition to the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of different physical and physicochemical methods of analysis such as HPLC,UV/VIS, FTIR, RAMAN, GC and classic analysis
- Strong understanding of GMP requirements for pharmaceutical industry with quality control or compliance background, FDA experience is a plus
- Good working knowledge of IT Systems such as SAGE, SAP, LIMS and Empower is a plus
- Proficiency in English
- 2-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus
You are an experienced professional with strong communication skills. You are able to coordinate multiple responsibilities and activities in parallel. You act as a role model for the Vifor Pharma values.
