About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional for our Supply Chain Team in Zurich or St Gallen on a permanent basis at Vifor Pharma. You are passionate about supply chain & planning and could already collect a certain work experience in it? You have an analytical skill set with aptitude for figures and are data-driven? Then you we are looking for you as:


Supply Planner API (m/w/d) 100%


Your tasks:


  • Optimum ordering and reordering from suppliers and/or own controlled manufacturing sites to fulfill on time in full (OTIF) the customer demand

  • Execute and track the purchase orders from placement until release by quality and set priorities in collaboration with Drug Product Supply Planner & Customer Operations

  • Control and track the correct settlement of deliveries and invoices including the correct arching of documentation

  • Manage inventory levels to minimize supply chain risks and optimize OTIF and support in defining tactical planning

  • Mitigate risks by managing bridging stock according VP category management

  • Maintain master data in the ERP system

  • Build sustainable relationships at peer level with suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g. Quality, Production, Regulatory and Sales & Marketing)

  • Responsible for the Planning Forecast and alignment with the supplier

  • Prepare and provide monthly reports to the respective departments (eg. Inventory reporting)

  • Active participation in Product Supply Teams

  • Active participation in Supply Chain Projects and improvement initiatives

  • Support monthly S&OP / IBP cycle with data preparation and analysis



Your profile:


  • Commercial education or equivalent

  • Degree, Certificate in Supply Chain Management is of advantage

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and procurement

  • Fluent in English and German language - both verbally and written

  • Experienced in ERP based Planning

  • GMP and / or GDP experience is of advantage

  • Strong communication skills and an assertive approach

  • Ability to work under pressure with an independent work style

  • Advance expertise in MS Office especially MS Excel
